Cancún, Mexico
The strip of beach between the lagoon and the Caribbean, where most of the cost is the board basis rather than the flight — which is what makes it bundle well.
Bundles well. The classic case for a package: board is the bulk of the bill and operators hold contracted rooms along this coast.
Best December to April, outside hurricane season.
Cozumel, Mexico
An island built around the reef wall off its western shore. Dive packages are sold by the operator rather than the hotel, so they sit outside the bundle and are worth pricing separately.
Bundles well. Bundle the flights and room; book the diving direct with the operator once you are there.
Best May to September for the clearest water.
Palawan, Philippines
Limestone karsts, hidden lagoons and a lot of boat time. Long-haul with a domestic connection at the end, which is exactly the kind of routing worth having one organiser responsible for.
Bundles well. The domestic leg is the reason to bundle — a missed connection on two separate tickets is your problem, on one it is not.
Best November to May, the dry season.
The Dolomites, Italy
Mountain hotels that still quote half board as standard, and a region that genuinely needs a car. The rental is the part most people forget to price.
Bundles well. Ask for the car in the same quote. Adding it afterwards at an Italian airport counter is how this trip gets expensive.
Best June to September, or December to March for snow.
Tokyo, Japan
A long flight and a city where the hotel is the smaller half of the cost. Bundling helps less here than the marketing suggests, and we will tell you if it does not.
Price it both ways. Worth pricing both ways. If you hold airline miles or status on this route, booking the flight separately usually wins.
Best March to May, or October to November.
Paris, France
The trip a package is least likely to win. Short stay, short flight, and thousands of hotels — which means choice matters more than bundling does.
Price it both ways. We will quote it as a package and as two separate bookings, and tell you which came out lower.

Board basis is worth deciding early — room only and all-inclusive are not small variations on the same holiday. If you are unsure, say so and we will price both.
